For many years Somerville Construction has been
building quality projects and has maintained an
excellent safety record. We are very proud of
our achievements which have been accomplished
with the co-operation of both management and
workers.
In order to continue to provide a safe work environment every employee must know how to work safely and use this knowledge in their
daily tasks. The law requires that we follow the current version of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Products. This act is an integral part of Somerville Construction's Safety Policy.
SAFETY & EDUCATION
Member of OGCA Safety Group, recipient of Zero Frequency Safety Awards.
Participants in the CCA Gold Seal Certification Program.
We incorporated a yearlong training program for 50 “youth at risk“.
As an introduction into the work force, they were inducted into apprenticeship programs, during the construction of a 10 unit Townhouse residential facility for the same group.
